Memorial weekend started off with a 6 day, 12 show work week. Those are never fun but having my lil brothers in the audience on our last night sure was! They are growing into such men and I love hanging out with them and watching them mature. Our conversations have slowly turned from video games and TV shows to texting and lady friends.....( still have a hard time swallowing that one). I love having them around and I wish I could spend more time with them. Today I started off my 2nd week of training with a run around my neighborhood as the neighbor kids cheered me on the whole way! Last week I ran a total of 7.5 miles along with 3 hot pilates classes as my cross training. I had a solid week of sore legs but I'm feelin good. I spent most of today deep cleaning my apartment and was so looking forward to coming home tonight to a clean fresh place. Such is not the case....
Instead a certain someone spilled water on my carpet this morning and my whole apartment smells like mildew. AH...what do I do? Any advise is greatly appreciated! Aside from that I had a fun day with my cute Vegas friends laying by the pool and eating yummy food. Along with a night by myself in the smelly mildew watching the Bachelorette!! I hope each of you had a good Memorial day despite my Utah friends and family who woke up to snow this morning. Yuck...isn't it almost June? One reason I sure love living in Vegas!

My 12 week countdown!
For the next 12 weeks my life will consist of running, running, and more running. Thanks to my sisters motivation and example, I have officially registered for my first half marathon and training starts tomorrow. Oddly enough and I am really excited. So excited in fact, last week I made a countdown till my countdown. I think its the goals and schedules and idea of it all that excites me. Being able to say I accomplished something I could have sworn I could never do is quit liberating. Lets hope 12 weeks from now this excitement continues and I make it across the finish line(even if I'm crawling) so I still have something to feel liberated about! Bring on the miles! Here's to a happy, healthy life!

One white piece of paper...
This white piece of paper has brought so many thoughts to my mind. When I originally signed my 2 year contract that seemed like FOREVER. I never even imagined having to think of what I would do after. I have a big decision to make along with many other decisions to make in the future. My mind is constantly spinning. Not many people have a choice like this placed before them. I truly am living my dream. I am excited for the future and I am blessed to be living in the present.
I am so grateful for these big decisions.

"...because I like you"
"I kiss you cause I like you"...
Don't we all wish it was this easy and exciting?
What was your first kiss like? I know as a girl I'm not the only one who walks inside, butterflies and all and starts breaking down what happened word for word, move for move. Was I awkward? Was I bad? I should have done this or that.... on and on! You'll probably lay in bed replaying the scene over and over. It was either your worst kiss ever or your newest best first kiss. I know one thing we all have in common is the hope that the guy is only half as excited and proud to have kissed you as this little Elliot. That he feels like he has total bragging rights that he kissed you on the lips! That hopefully he went home and told all his buddies, even the girls that he got to kiss YOU! haha I love that the mom can't even be mad in the video because it is just too darn cute.
Here's to more kisses simply because they like you!

Little bundles of joy!
The past few weeks I have been surrounded by babies. It is amazing to me the amount of love these tiny bundles of joy can bring. Each new baby I see is another reminder of the blessings our Heavenly Father has in store. They are so innocent and pure and helpless. I genuinely look forward to the day when I get to be a mommy. Until that day I get to be excited and anticipate this fall when Tui and Teres will welcome their baby girl. I can't even imagine how much love she will bring to our family. These babies are a constant reminder of how precious life is, and how each of us came from our loving Heavenly Father to our perfect set of earthly parents. I look forward to watching our Clark family grow in the future. Congrats to my loved ones and friends who have welcomed a new little one to their family! Oh how I love these sweet babies!
