Well ... it's been a minute since my last post. A lot has happened in the past two months. I'll start with the obvious being my last night performing with Viva Elvis. August 18th was a day I will never forget. My heart races just thinking about it. Elvis had been my whole world for almost 4 years. I heard his music everyday. My body did those dance moves 2 shows a night 10x's a week for 3 1/2 years. (no wonder we had so many surgeries;). I saw and laughed and cried and grew with those same sweet faces every day. I met thousands of people from all over the world. I did my makeup and put on my wig until I was no longer Stacey Clark but now "Amber Jensen" the character I created 4 years ago during creation in Montreal. I got to pour out my heart and soul on that stage each night. What a journey and a blessing that I will eternally be grateful for. I grew as an artist and performer in ways I never thought possible. I am SO grateful for Viva Elvis. I am equally as grateful for my family who supported all along the way. Having them all standing with that huge banner and the smiling faces cheering me on one last time is unlike any feeling I've ever felt. Sadness, gratitude, relief, love, passion, fear and a very very full heart are only some of the feelings I felt that night. It was overwhelming to say the least.
