A little taste of perfection!

Did you watch the Oscars last night?! I sure did and my favorite part aside from the fashion was watching my fellow Cirque du Soleil employee's perform. Oh the amount of talent that surrounds me daily is insane! I love it! Proud girl today to be working for such a wonderful company. Also did you spot Louise Roe and her amazing dress?... Let me share incase you missed it!

February!

I am welcoming this month of love with a big embrace, and a few goals to go along with it:

1. Instagram photo for each day of the month.

2. Make my bed every day. I guarantee a better morning!

3. Personal scripture study before ever turning my computer on. If I can spend an hour pinning I can surely spend 15 minutes reading.

4. Send a friend or loved one a text, note or message each day. Who doesn't love to be reminded that they are loved?!

5. Enjoy all things pink, lovely, and glamorous.

When you have a love and light about you, you attract others. I mean.. I am single but always ready to mingle!

Advice from Elder Busche

My sweet friend Hilary shared this video with me. I laid in my bed and played it over and over. My heart was instantly full and my eyes filled with tears. I think it is a beautiful message and a wonderful reminder. Right away I thought of who I could share it with. I emailed it to my mom and she sent me a sweet "I needed that" this morning. It's so good I have decided to share it with all of you. I hope it will open your eyes and fill your hearts on this Monday morning just as it has mine.

Back to the Basics!

Today's insta photo has been a good reminder for me. I need to say Buh-bye to the DC for a while and HELLO to more H2O. My body has been a little wacky this week and its time to get back on track. I love how I feel when I'm drinking the proper amount of water so it's a mystery to me why I ever stop drinking it. But its not about looking back its about moving forward so here's to a waterfull week!! (cheesy I know, just go with it :)

Love

I find myself sitting here alone in my fully furnished, 2 bed room apartment totally content. I have had quite a few conversations about relationships and marriage and all things "love" these past few weeks. We had an awesome lesson in relief society today on love and what defines it. I also received a sweet letter in the mail from a friend who I really care for. I got to spent 3 weekends this past month with some of my favorite loved ones. Being with my niece Tovah has showed me that we can love bigger than we ever thought possible. Tonight I got to skype with my newly married friends. All of these things have made me think more about love. How do I define love. What does the word "LOVE" mean to me. Love changes people. Some of the happiest people I know are those who dedicate their lives to loving and serving others. When you have love in your heart you have a light about you that is undeniable. Love is comfort. Love is family. Love is friendship. Love is putting others before yourself. Love is service. Love is something we are constantly striving for. We should be seeking to love others the way the Savior loves us.

Some days I find myself feeling lonely or wishing my situation were different. Not tonight. Tonight I am happy. It's not so much about finding someone to fall in love with but rather the things in my life that mean love to me. I constantly have love in my heart. I have so much to be grateful for and so many things in my life that remind to love every single day. I can feel my Saviors love. The knowledge that we have and our ability to love are what makes this life worth living. I am so grateful for the gospel. There is no greater example of love than that which our Father in Heaven has for us, his children. Tonight I am grateful for this reminder. I sure do LOVE you all!

Far above rubies!

I read and studied today. It was exactly what I needed. It's amazing when you choose to do right and set new goals to work on yourself spiritually how things just seem SO fitting for what you are going through. I feel like that's the Lord giving us a little *wink of praise and love for doing what's right. He knows us so well. Here's a little of what I read:

Out with the old, in with the new!

It's 2012 and I feelin good! I celebrated New Years the true vegas way bumping into chubby, drunk, loud, barefooted, classy girls, and avoiding any and every male on the strip! Eww! I did spend the night with some of my favorite people though! 2012 is going to be a year with lots of new adventures, learning experiences, hopefully a new city, new friends, and a healthy happy lifestyle! I feel excited about the future. I don't love change but I do love NEW so bring it on 2012 I'm ready for ya!!
